According to North Carolina State law, dental assistants must complete an approved training course to monitor patients receiving nitrous oxide. Our comprehensive program provides the knowledge and credentials needed for dental assistants help monitor nitrous oxide patients effectively. Designed to meet industry standards, this course offers 7 hours of engaging lectures, concluding with a comprehensive final examination. Score 75% or higher on the written exam to earn your certification and start gaining the trust of dental practices seeking skilled professionals. No clinical experience is required, as our focus is on equipping you with the theoretical understanding necessary to excel in nitrous oxide sedation. Prior to enrollment, you will need the following:  • Valid proof of identification • Active CPR certification • Proof of Dental Assistant II experience (2 years) or • Dental Assistant certification
