Engaging Lectures
Our experienced instructors, who are full-time certified dental assistants from different dental specialties, cover a wide range of topics, including dental anatomy, infection control, dental materials, and chair-side assisting techniques. Through interactive and informative lectures, students gain a solid foundation in dental assisting theory.
Hands-On Training
We believe that hands-on experience is crucial in order to be a competent dental assistant. That's why we emphasize practical, hands-on training in addition to classroom learning. Students have many opportunities to practice essential skills in a real dental office environment, working with real instruments, equipment, and materials.
Additional Certifications
Throughout the DA1 Program, students work towards earning additional certifications that validate their knowledge and competence in dental assisting. These include:
North Carolina Dental X-RAY Certification
CPR for the Health Care Provider
Medical Office Emergencies
Coronal polishing
(X-Ray) Radiology
These certifications enhance employability and open doors to more opportunities in the field.
